Memphis, TN Botanical Gardens

I am not your usual "garden" kind of guy but a memorial for an old friend was recently held at the Memphis Botanical Garden giving me a reason to go.  This was truly a wonderful setting for celebrating the life of an equally wonderful person.  I understand that showers, weddings and concerts are held here as well.

 My son and I took the opportunity to walk some of the grounds, even he was impressed when he saw the koi.Later Luke enjoys a glass of bubbly (coke) while appreciating the art exhibit.

Memphis has many attractions to consider from sight seeing to nightlife but if your into gardens then the Memphis Botanical gardens may just be the thing for you.
