Prelude to Alaska

Spokane, Washington at last

As planned this day went without a hitch other than some minor construction entering Spokane.

They were repaving sections of the road and about 10 miles had been striped down with a grooving machine.  Not a groovy thing in a good way.  Kind of felt like a flat tire all over again.

I arrived at Ed's Snowmobile and Motorcycle shop in Spokane around 10:30 just in time to pick up my Wife's helmet and gear I had shipped there before they closed at noon.  The plan is for my wife and I to tour Washington state taking Highway 20 to Seattle, attending the SMX conference, visiting some old friends in Richland then returning to Ed's in Spokane.  There we will store the bike in preparation for my return to travel to Alaska with my father.  For those who wish to follow along on the Washington tour see our posts entitled Washington State Circle Tour.
